About Me -Summer Lotus
Hi, I am Summer Lotus@rosalindho and that is my pen name. It is directly translated from my Chinese name which means Summer and Lotus.
I am a dentist by profession and am practicing in Singapore for the past 35 years. I love my career very much because of digital technology and advances in material sciences and techniques which have made my job easier and enjoyable.
My philosophy is to do what I love as work and do more of what I love outside my work. They are writing, which is my latest craze as well as continue my travels (once Covid-19 blows over), learn about technology and new gadgets.
My other interests include learning and improving my languages such as Mandarin, Japanese as well as English. I believe that the ability to express succinctly and appropriately is the most satisfying skill in my life.
For sports, I have dabbled in scuba-diving, and have the fortune to travel to many beautiful diving destinations as well as participated in some dive cruises.
As I come from a tropical country, skiing is my most challenging sport but I still attempt at least once a year especially in Japan.
I love to challenge myself and push the boundaries a little at a time. Every day is a gift and life has so much to offer that I have no time for sick leave or complaints. My job is to solve other people’s discomfort and pain and is what I am passionate about.
I have done about 100 articles but with not much viewership. However, this shows that I need to try harder, read more, and learn from other authors who have got the right formula.
